the "Emna Skirt" is finally available for preorder and...

this has been so long in the making and I am very happy that a design I have been working on for a long time is finally available for preorder. It is the “Emna Skirt”.

This skirt portrays what in my world a playful take on sexiness feels like. It is named after a woman that I know through the World Wide Web. Her name is Emna and she is to me exactly what this skirt feels like, sexy yet playful.
With this skirt I am introducing something very new to Pauluschkaa and that is pieces that will stay and build the essence of the brand. Pieces that create the base of what Pauluschkaa in its core feels like to me. I am so incredibly excited to be able to share this with you. It’s been a long process, I will run you through it.
I started working on the design last year in autumn while I found myself in a place of searching for something and that something was my creativity in a sense. It had left me for a little bit, just like it leaves every creative once in a while and there is not much you can do but patiently waiting for it to find its way back to you. While trying out all different things with new fabrics I slowly started to go back to what I have been working with before.
I returned to fabrics that feel familiar to me and give me comfort. Returning to the known in order to create something new… I wrote a Newsletter about this before, maybe you want to read this afterwards (you might already did).
These are the fabrics the “Emna Skirt” is crafted from. It is the lightest and slightly see through cotton batiste that feels like a soft touch on your skin. The lace has a beautiful floral pattern and goes back to the material Collection 13 was made from mostly. The tones are moving in a sea of cremes and white.
